1. If I'm a sophmore in high school or older is there any singing children program for me?
Yes, Now Encore, the senior-high school companion choir to Mobile's Singing Children is looking for new singers.

2.Can I join Encore even if I was never in Mobile's Singing Children?
Yes, Encore auditions are open to anyone of the appropriate age; however, Encore is for experienced singers.

3. I've heard the concert choir performs all over the world. Is that true?
Yes, each season MSC participates in a tour and has traveled extensively in the United States and Europe.

4.What kind of music do the choirs of Mobile's Singing Children perform?
The choirs perform a wide variety of music from classical compositions to folk songs, spirtiuals and comtemporary and popular songs.

5.Who are the directors of Mobile Singing Children?
Susan Hoitt is the Director of Mobile's Singing Children. Jennifer Bemis is accompanist/assistant director.

6. Are there fees and responsibilities for members of Mobile's Singing Children and their parents?
There is an annual tuition and each singer is responsible for his/her uniform. Sometimes there are extra fees assessed for festivals and tours. To keep tuition costs low, the choir members do conduct two fund-raising activities each year. Members must attend all performance and rehearsals as well as get-acquainted workshop in August..
